A repeat of yesterday; warmer weather tomorrow
Similar to yesterday, patchy and dense fog kicks off our day with conditions feeling soupy out the door. As temperatures gradually warm up with spotty sunshine early in the day, Michiana is expecting another round of afternoon scattered showers and storms in the area moving from east to west almost identical to yesterday's. After cooling to the low 60s tonight, temperatures skyrocket to the upper 80s tomorrow with some areas south of US-30 reaching near 90 degrees. Abnormally warm and moist conditions over the Great Lakes will provide ample fuel for potentially severe weather late Thursday night, however whether thunderstorms initiate or not is still uncertain. At this point, the chance for severe weather is low but trending upward. Conditions are quiet on Friday with a gradual cooldown through the weekend.
Today: PM thunderstorms. High 77.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 62.
Thursday: AM sun/PM thunderstorms. High 88.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 85.
